A body for the Wickkeeper.
A carved mask, a coat held together with flax, and a crooked lantern staff. Both wizards now belong to the same strange parish as their creatures.

The next part of Lantern Mire is the character you spend the match following. We have replaced the wizard study with an original Blender model, shared by the player and the Wickkeeper. The new body carries the same game: lead the brood, fight over souls, and protect the sacrifice.
Made for this mire
Shaun wanted us to define the pieces ourselves. Codex built the geometry, materials, rig and motion in Blender using Python, then inspected the editable source and animation through computer use. No wizard model or animation pack was downloaded.
The long coat gives the wizard a different outline from the round Pusling. Reed ribs and flax tie it back to the same material family; the mask and warm lantern remain readable against the cool ground. Both sides use the same body, with a cyan circle or coral diamond marking allegiance.

Motion follows the game
Walking, backstepping and sideways travel now have distinct motion. Sprinting, jumping, falling and landing follow the existing controller. Casting gestures play above the moving legs, so the wizard can keep travelling while sending a Rot Bolt into the fight.
Death now produces a short collapse before the body disappears. Carried souls still drop immediately, and the wizard returns after the same six seconds. The lantern follows its hinged bone, while spells continue to use the original collision-safe launch position. The attached glow uses the Binbun shader foundation already credited in the first art sample.

Checked, with more to come
The native checks cover moving casts, spell costs, directional animation, jump and sprint, cargo dropping, death and return, the rival, pause and restart. The existing gameplay regression also checks the conserved soul economy, recovery, combat and the complete match. Both normal camera distances were captured and inspected.
This is another playable Mac checkpoint, not the end of M5. The Bloat Brute and feral Puslings come next, followed by the arena, sound and text barks, accessibility and the sustained performance pass. Windows, Intel execution and Shaun’s judgement of combat feel remain separate checks.
