The first errands.
Each first patron choice now leads to an enemy territory, a defending wizard and a saved return to Limbo.

The first promise now has a destination. Accept an oath, prepare the learned kit and leave Limbo. The four first errands use familiar terrain with different defending patrons, landmarks and conversations. They finish through the existing font, soul and altar rules.
Four promises, four defenders
Vessara sends the wizard to Veyra’s shore. Ilveth sends them into Vorr’s fractured lands. Veyra wants Vessara’s road reopened, while Vorr disputes the vows enforced in Ilveth’s valley. Each introduction names the actual sponsor and lets the defending wizard answer the accusation.
A font must be held before the altar ritual can begin. The defending wizard raises a finite army, uses the existing combat rules and can return while the altar stands. Victory consumes the ritual carrier, accounts for surviving friendly souls and saves the return to Limbo.
One continuing wizard
Choosing a patron does not replace the protagonist’s body. Earned abilities have their own source identity, costs and cooldowns. The prepared kit has three spell slots and three summon slots; Pusling remains available as the dependable carrier. Learned gifts remain in the collection when equipment changes.
The oath review explains departure supplies: the patron brings the reserve up to six souls if necessary. That grant is saved once on departure. Reloading restores the existing world, including paid creatures, soul holders and font ownership; it does not refill the reserve.

The loop in the app
The archived errand app passed eighteen focused checks on each of the four routes, and completed all four missions with normal navigation, paid summons, real spells, font capture and ritual timing. Separate rendered runs captured every first route. Existing practice, campaign and Mire checks also passed.
The screenshots come from those automated journeys, not authored concept images. Silent sampled motion recordings are retained locally for practice and the Borrowed Shore. They are not real-time performance measurements or human playtests.
Review found an obstructed opening camera near the home altar. A later source refinement frames the defending wizard during the introduction and returns to the gameplay camera afterward; that refinement is not claimed as part of this archived candidate. Direct desktop inspection remains unavailable while the Mac is locked.
The next bargain
This candidate delivers the first errands. Later oaths remain explicitly unavailable in it while the stronger rewards, court closures and elimination battles are being completed. Final voice performances and subjective pacing acceptance remain ahead. The earlier opening, practice and multiplayer candidates are preserved.
