Try the promise.
Before an oath, try the offered spell and creature with ordinary movement, costs and combat.

A reward card can describe a creature. A fight makes its purpose clearer. Every first patron offer now leads to a separate practice court where the wizard can summon, move, cast and give orders before making a promise.
Borrowed gifts
The trial lends the selected spell and summon alongside the earned kit. Q casts the offered spell; 2 raises its creature. Movement, aiming, commands, soul recovery, mana costs and cooldowns use the actual game rules. The summon card also offers a short demonstration of the creature rising, moving and fighting.
An injured ally and hostile targets make both support and hostile effects useful. Borrowed Pulse spends eighteen health and empowers allied creatures. Undertow and Misrule move enemies; they do not become damage spells just for the demonstration.

Return to the same offer
Escape opens reset and return actions. Reset rebuilds the targets and trial resources. Return takes the wizard back to the same god and offer. A death also exposes reset and return; reloading discards the borrowed session.
Trial souls, temporary powers, creatures and spell effects belong to that court. They do not enter the campaign save, alter allegiance or remain in another god’s audience. An already accepted pair can still be practised.

Checked in the app
The separate Mac practice app passed sixty focused checks covering paid costs, equipped restrictions, save isolation, reset and death. Scripted native viewport input completed all four court-to-trial journeys: enter the audience, inspect an offer, travel, move, summon, cast, reset and return. All forty-four assertions passed.
The same executable passed the existing sixty-seven campaign checks, 205 Mire checks, 237 Passes checks and twenty-seven native input checks. Sixteen staged captures were reviewed from the packaged app; the three shown here are full-frame JPEG conversions. These automated checks do not replace a human assessment of feel.
Direct desktop inspection remains unavailable while the Mac is locked. Final dialogue performances are still pending. This iteration does not make a frame-rate claim or claim the later campaign missions are delivered.
Next: keep the gifts
The next iteration connects the four first patron errands and carries earned powers between them. Departure, mission objectives and returning to Limbo need the same discipline as practice: one saved outcome, no duplicate reward, and a clear account of every soul.
